An Invitation

Two Ways to Extend Your Support

SCHOLARSHIP

Supporting Others on the Journey

Poets & Prophets is committed to supporting and equipping the next generation to lead toward the flourishing of people and planet.  Your scholarship support goes to underwrite participation of young adults and prosocial leaders working in nonprofit settings in our pilgrimages, immersions, and journeys.  As a 501c3, all gifts are tax deductible. Thank you for your support!

Honoring Care of Place

One house, many rooms (inside and out), The Meetinghouse is committed to the being, belonging and becoming of people and planet!

While global in reach, Poets & Prophets is committed to the communities in which we live and work.  They remain the place in which we nurture our being, belonging and becoming.  Poets & Prophets is blessed to be housed in an historic  Meetinghouse, which has been serving at the crossroads since 1760.  If the walls of the Meetinghouse would speak, they would share of town meetings held during the Colonial and post-Revolutionary era; of the critical role played in the national drama of the Amistad captives; of the conviction that we are collectively responsible for the care of people and planet.  Where once we fought for our independence, today we honor our inter-dependence. Your donations support the preservation of the Meetinghouse.  As a 501c3, all gifts are tax deductible. Thank you for your support!

With Deep Gratitude

There is an old French Proverb that says: Gratitude is the heart’s memory.

There are so many that we hold in our heart’s memory, who have supported us in this launch; too many to be named.  Still, it behooves us to thank those who helped with the prototyping: your wisdom, your input, and your willingness to show up got us to this point.

Thanks, also to those who made this website possible.  In particular, Liz Johnson and Tara Street of Braid Creative (braidcreative.com) for their amazing help in branding and messaging; and to the incredible WordPress.com Happiness Team for bringing this site to life.

A word of thanks also goes to the Patricia M. and Robert H. Martinsen Foundation and the Southern New England Conference, UCC for their support. Thank you!

Together, we are Poets & Prophets!
